Egypt – Israel- Jordan

Day 01:Arrival Cairo

Meet and assist at the Airport. Meet your Egyptianguide and board to your air-conditioned bus to proceed for a Mass and remaining time will be dedicated for rest, leisure or shopping on your own.

Day 02: Full Day Cairo

After breakfast at the hotel, start your full day with a mass in a Catholic Church in Cairo then proceed for a visit to the Great Pyramids, which was constructed over 4,500 years ago and show us the power and wealth of the pharaoh in the Old Kingdom and Sphinx of Giza, which was believed to be form of a Sun God and was worshiped in ancient days. Visits at the Egyptian Museum, where you will find artifacts, relics, statues and Jewelry from all of the Pharaohs that reign are also included, Old Cairo including Church of Abuser, this is where the Holy Family hide, St. Servius Church visit the ”tree where the Virgin Mary was said to have taken shelter and Khan ElKhalili Bazaar. Have Nile Dinner Cruise with belly dancing show and overnight hotel.

Day 03: Cairo/ St. Catherine

After breakfast, we will have a mass in a Catholic Church then proceed for a half day tour visiting Memphis and Sakkara. Drive to the Suez Canal to cross under the water Tunnel into Sinai. Visit Moses Spring son the way to St. Catherine and arrive at Saint Catherine then check-in, dinner and overnight.

Day 04: St. Catherine / Taba Border Crossing / Qumran / Dead Sea /Jerusalem

In the early morning, climb at the Moses Mountain andcatch the sunrise (optional). Here is where God spoke to Moses. Then, back tothe hotel for breakfast. Visit Saint Catherine Monastery the Burning Bush: animperative to visit (Close every Friday and Sunday). Check-out at the hotelthen transfer to Taba border for your tour to Israel. Meet your guide anddriver when you come out of customs and immigration. We will then continue toQumran for a tour of the site was the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. And thenproceed to Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth and enjoy some time at theirprivate beach till transfer to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight

Day 05: Jerusalem New City / Ein Karem

Start our appreciation of the Holy City of Jerusalem with a visit to the Mount Of Olives, for a panoramic view of the city,Ascension Chapel – traditional place where Jesus ascended into heaven; then Pater Noster Church traditionally the site where Jesus taught the disciples how to pray “Our Father”; then Dominus Flevit Church in memory of Jesusweeping over the fate of Jerusalem. Visit the Church of Ascension and walk thePalm Sunday route down the hill to the Garden of Gethsemane for an intercessoryprayer; it was here where Jesus spent His last night before He was arrested;Basilica of Agony, stopping along the way at the Maria Magdalena Church. Then visit to the museum of the boat and house of Lazarus. Visit the Church of All Nations at the Garden ofGethsemane. Drive to Nearby Mount Zion and visit the Last Supper’s Room and theTomb of King David. Visit the Dormition Abbey – traditionally the site wherethe Virgin Mary slept last; and St. Peter’s Church in Gallicantu – traditionalsite where St. Peter denied Jesus for 3 times. Drive to Emmaus, an old town onthe eastern edge of the Ajalon Valley. Here, the resurrected Jesus walked,talked and dined with two of his disciples, Cleophas and Simon. In the lateafternoon, tour of Ein Karem the birthplace of St. John the Baptist (now theChurch of St. John the Baptist) and the Church of Visitation – where Mary cameafter the angel Gabriel informed her cousin Elizabeth was six months pregnantdespite her advance years.  Return toHotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 06: Old City of Jerusalem / Bethlehem

After breakfast, Reflect whilefollowing the Way of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) ending at the Church of the HolySepulcher – the burial place and resurrection of Jesus. It was built over thesite of the place called Golgotha, which means “a place of skull”.  Precedeyour tour of the Old City, starting from the St. Stephen’s Gate (the Lion’sGate), stopping at St. Anne’s Church – regarded as the birthplace of the VirginMary and the home of St. Anne and Joaquin, the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesustold the lame man to take up his bed and walk. Visit the Cardo and the JewishQuarter before arriving at the Western (Wailing) Wall, the last vestige of thesecond temple, where Jews all over the world gather to commemorate thedestruction of the first and second temple and pray for Israel’s restoration.Drive to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus and visit the Church of theNativity, where we find the Grotto of Nativity and Altar of Christ’s Birth andManger’s Square. Visit Shepherd’s Field. Time for some last minute giftshopping at one of the Church stores around. Return to Hotel for dinner andovernight.

Day 07: Mt. Carmel / Bahai Shrine / Nazareth / Cana / Mt. Tabor

After breakfast we shall depart the hotel and drive Haifa atop Mount Carmel – forever renowned as being the scene of a contest between Monotheism and Paganism and visit the Stella Marris Church and the Bahai Shrine and Gardens. Continue to Nazareth, the place where Jesus spent Hirschi hood; the Church of the Annunciation which was believed to be where the angel Gabriel announced to the Blessed Mother of Christ which she humbly accepted, “Behold I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to ME according to your word” and Mary’s well. Visit and proceed to Cana for visit of the Church of the First Miracle known also as the Marriage Church, here couples will have an opportunity to renew their marriage vows. Drive to Mt. Tabor and ascend by taxi to the Church of Transfiguration, descend then proceed for Scenic drive to Tiberias for hotel check-in, dinner and overnight

Day 08: MT. OF BEATITUDES – TABGHA– CAPERNAUM – SEA OF GALILEE – YARDENIT

Departhotel after breakfast and proceed to Mt. of Beatitudes, the traditional sitewhere Jesus uttered the immortal words “Blessed are the poor in Spirit,for theirs is the kingdom of God”. (Matthew 5:3-12). Visit the Church andits grounds for private reading of the Sermon on the Mount. Continue to nearbyTabgha, the site where Jesus performed the Miracle of the Multiplication ofLoaves and Fishes; visit the Church of the Loft and Fish Miracle. On the stonewhich serves as the altar, there is mosaic of basket of loaves flanked by twofish to commemorate this miraculous event. Two hundred yards away is the Churchof Primacy, built in1934 in basalt over a massive rock called “MensaChristi”. Here where the Risen Lord appeared to his disciples, preparedbreakfast for them and gave St. Peter the pastoral commission, Feed my Sheep(John 21:15-19). Next visit will be to Capernaum, the home of St. Peter. Proceedto the Greek Orthodox Church and the nearby archaeological excavations of theSynagogue and community. Continue to Sea of Galilee – where Jesus’ performedsome of His Miracles like when he walked on the water (Mark 6:48). On thecruise, have an opportunity to reflect on the messages of our Lord as we savorthe beauty of nature while sailing at the Sea of Galilee. Lastly, proceed toYardenit for renewal of baptism before returning to your hotel for dinner andovernight.

Day 09: Tiberias / Allenby Bridge / Amman

After breakfast, check out of our hotel and drive theJordan Valley road to the Jordan River crossing (we will cross the borderheading to Allenby Bridge) for crossing to Jordan. Continue to Amman for dinnerand overnight.

Day 10: Amman / Petra / Amman

After breakfast, Proceed to your full day tour to Petra, “a rose-red city half as old as time”, the place in the desert that is prepared by God for the Jewish people. Also experience horse backside through the picturesque SIQ, and visit the Treasury, a rose color demon omental building artfully carved out of sheer rock. Transfer to Amman. Continue to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Departure Amman

Breakfast at the hotel, we drive along King’s Highwayto the Christian Village of Madaba and see the ancient Mosaic of the Holy Land.Then we visit Mount Nebo where Moses viewed the Promised Land. Departuretransfer to airport to catch your onward flight
